Windsurfing: The Dip-Felixstowe
Wind Direction: nw
Wind Stength: 15
Surf / Sea State: slight chop
Air Temperature: 16
Sea Temperature: 16
Weather: cloudy and cold :(
Max Speed: 24.66 (knots - unless stated otherwise)

With the wind NW the only option open here in Felixstowe is abit of longboard cruising :) So after breakfast at The Dip with Mag I met up with Neil Hurrell and we rigged 8.5 , s and set off up the coast and after reaching for over 11 miles !!! making speeds over 24 kts - not bad considering now lumpy the sea was we landed by the lighthouse on Orford Island. We both made the mistake of wearing shortie's and our hands were cold but thats British summertime for you - where has the summer gone ??? I had seen a porpose on the way which made up for the cloudy, cool day !!! Then after snacks we set off on the beat back which was good but it could have been abit windier or I should have been brave enough to rig the 9.4 !!! We were both glad to get back to our vans to warm up as the grip was going from our cold hands :( Still a nice way to spend the day - would have been better if the sun was out and I think I would rather be in La Franqui !!!!
